Y'all don't want to know how much this sucks!
I have always had a problem with my babies' first year coming so soon after they are born. It's like one day they are born and a week later they are One. I hate that. I know, it's a huge milestone and technically I should be happy about it, which I am, but it always feels like it was way too fast. Sort of like when you go on an amusement ride and it's exiting at first, then it gets a little scary and when you finally get used to all the ups and downs and you begin having so much fun, it just ends. That is what it feels like for me, every single time.
Sure, there is more fun to come, more milestones achieved, many more adventures to have, but for me, nothing compares to that amazing first year.
We spent the day mostly at home, then in the afternoon we gathered at ChuckE.Cheese. I know she's too small but she really did enjoy it. She got really happy during the birthday celebration with Chuck E, she wasn't even scared of the huge rat, how awesome is she! Here are some pixies.
Elizabeth, thank you for letting me be your mommie.
Sorry this post is so choppy, and too un-well written, I'm having a hard time being happy and sad. My girlie's' first birthdays are always a bit emotional for me.

Happy birthday to your sweet little girl! I think that first year should have to go twice as slow so you get a chance to catch every little bit of it...
Happy Birthday Elizabeth! And Happy First Birthday to you too Momma - she's gorgeous and wonderful, and you are doing a phenomenal job. So be weepy about the end of her first year, and look forward to all that is to come!
