Spring Break 2010

This is the most important aspect, I SURVIVED! And not once did I feel like running away or putting my kids in baskets with a $50 and a sign that says "finders keepers". The weather was glorious most of the week and the people I was around were some of my favorite people in the world. And so, here's a brief peek into Spring Break 2010. My Steve (the flasher) and his room mate on the roof of his house. It was my niece's second birthday party and they were in charge of the pinata wrangling.

This is a goat. Alex (nephew extraordinaire) and Lily were very amused by him. Ms. Scratchy and Jess not so much. They found him stinky.

At another park later that same day during an impromptu ice cream time, Jess ignored me and so did Alex. This is Ms. Scratchy, she is waking me up from a nap with this gorgeous smile. I forgot what she was saying, but the smile unforgettable.

My niece and Scratchy on one last trip to the park late in the afternoon. I love this picture so much that it's my screen saver on my cell phone. Scratchy is deliriously cute on her own, but the combination of these two is deadly.
Um, this is what happens when you're knitting a heel on a sock and you forget to turn the burner COMPLETELY off, instead of to low. Oops
On a whim and under some severe bullying from my two eldest daughters I bought a dress for the first time in years. I must say that I look really good in it too.

All picuture were taken with my cell phone because I can no longer be bothered to carry around a digital camera and a phone. My lazy is HUGE, I regret nothing though.

Be safe. Be good

LOVE the dress - you look fab.

Love that you melted something on your stove because you were knitting. I've never (cough, cough) done anything like that.

Love (4 bazillion) that you survived spring break without murdalizing anyone. I can only hope that I am so lucky - our spring break is 4 weeks long.

Four. Weeks. Where's my scotch and the cabana boys?
