Plans!

I have thems. Today my big plan for the day is to not loose my mind. I have 2 "winter celebrations" to attend at my daughter's school today and I have and appointment with the IRS. In anticipation for all this I finished this. It took a whole flippin' month. It is 9 stitches to the inch. I nearly died of boredom. Too bad it needs a friend in order to be considered a gift.
Yarn: LionBrand Sockease (Rockcandy) Needles: Knitpicks DPNs US1 (2.25mm)
This is how much knitting I can get done while watching Iron Man the movie. It is destined to be another 1 row scarf. It's the only pattern I've found that isn't boring, doesnt take 2 years out of one's lifetime and is mindless enough to knit while watching a good movie. I've yet to determine if it's mindless enough for knitnight. I swear the only mindless knitting I can achieve there is stockinette, in the round. Those ladies are quite the entertaining bunch.
Yarn:Louet Sales Gems (100% mmmMerino) Needles: Bamboo Circulars US8 (5mm) By Clover.
I have business with this yarn today. It is destined to become a Turn Square hat for someone. As soon as I post this I'm hunting down the contrasting yarn. I know it's in the stash somewhere. I don't remember what yarn this is, but I'm almost sure it's acrylic. I set myself a goal to knit up as much of the acrylic in my stash as possible. Then when the new year comes I will replace it all with natural fibers. Wish me luck. I'm gifting all these items to people whom I know appreciate the hand knits, but whom I know will NOT be hand washing anything. I better hurry up too, I'm not listing how many days there are 'till Christmas, just know that I know that you know that there aint that many left! Ok, I'm off to have a panic attack now. Good day y'all.
