Never Again.

So I'm leaving my family in about 24 hours. I'm going out of town, by myself for the first time ever. I can't wait. Just one problem. I have the flu. I diagnosed myself with it after denying it for the past few days. I kept thinking "how could it be the flu? I got the vaccine (technically it was the mist one that goes up your nose) I'm immune" NOT!! I think the vaccine gave me the fraggin flu. It was the first time I ever got the freaking thing and this is what I get. Stupid shot. I never get the flu, never. I only listened to my doctor because she said that since I have 2 kids in school it was best if we all got the vaccine, so we all did. But that is the last time I ever get it. Dr. KnowsBest actually said to me "Oh, but if in fact you do get the flu, which is uncommon, it will be a very mild case". One word, liar. Mild case my bahuki, I'm dying over here. Never getting that damned thing again, I'm half tempted to ask for a refund. I'm not even going to have a chance to rest out my flu. My Lily is going on her first field trip today, and I signed up to be a chaperon. If I don't go there will be no photos, if there is no photos it wont be fair, she'll say it's cause she's the middle child. Her wee little heart will be broken. I have to go. It may kill me.
