Week-end Scenes

This past Saturday the weather around here was just plain glorious. It turned out to be the perfect costume party weather. Here's proof. Above we see my eldest daughter as Snow White, trying to whack the crap out of the Speed Racer Pinata. In the background you see my brother being a ham. Don't worry we all think he is odd. Here we see Lily as Snow White, trying to......well you get it, see prior description of Jess. Aren't my daughters creative? Yeah I didn't think so either.

Here we see Scratchy playing the part of.....yep, you guessed it...Snow White 3.0. The one obvious difference is that she cared not for whacking stuff. I think that really made her stand out. Very original of her, no?

This here is what happens when the pinata is whacked open. Everyone makes a mad dash for the candy. Even the grown-ups....er...bigger people.

This is what happens when the birthday boy believes that no one will push his head into the cake when he tries to take the customary (at least in our fambly) first bite of the cake. Isn't he naive? Silly seven year olds.

Hope y'alls weekend was as fun as mine was!!!
